Our love for rare and beautiful objects isn't limited to those of the horological variety! In addition to our perpetual treasure hunt for great watches, we cast a wider net into the world of vintage objects, a practice that, since our founding, has yielded a trove of finds we happily share  during the holiday season each year.

From vintage clocks to pocket knives, lighters to diving instrumentation, old-world ashtrays to desk sculptures — these are the types of mementos that heavily tug on our nostalgic heart strings and further sate our impulse for preservation and storytelling.

This pewter sculpture is crafted in likeness of the classic Mini Cooper, arguably the most emblematic British car of all time. Diminutive in size but not in character, the original Mini was a triumph of design and engineering, and remained in production for over 30 years. Lauded by racers, musicians, actors, and journalists the world over, the Mini was both a sensible urban runabout and a potent performance machine when properly fettled. 

Cast from of solid pewter, it measures approximately 6 1/2” x 3 “ x 3” and features fine detailing throughout, making for a stunning display item. These pieces were produced in the UK in the 1990s and early 2000s by The Compulsion Gallery, which has sadly since gone out of business, making their fine automotive sculptures rare and highly sought-after by petrol heads the world over.
